The major obstruction to fusion will be the Coulomb repulsion power amongst nuclei. Considering that the beautiful nuclear drive which will fuse nuclei together is brief ranged, the repulsion of like beneficial charges should be overcome as a way to get nuclei close ample to induce fusion. Figure 22
